Italian Lombardy Louis XIII Oval Top Pedestal Table
Italian, Lombardia, Louis XIV Walnut and Inlaid Oval Table, having a central inlaid top depicting three figures in repose, two playing instruments, the other sitting with his spear, the concentric outer bands separated by band inlays of fruitwood and boxwood, the largest band depicting dolphins and decorative vine and leaf patterns, on a line inlaid central support and resting on a tripartite base with underscrolled Baroque feet which are inlaid with leaf forms and floral sprays. Given the age, the beginning of the 18th cen., the table is in exquisite condition with no structural flaws and retains a rich patina. Late 17th cen.
