having a rectangular top with an ebonized border, the ebonized case with a writing slide and 9 locking drawers with floral escutcheons, with columned corners and having faux drawers on the reverse, resting on 8 flattened bracket feet. In excellent antique condition with fading to some ebonized areas caused by use, having working locks and key. Naples, Italy, 2nd quarter 19th century
